Would you pay someone to do this to your home?!?

This is an actual photo of a home we did NOT work on. We were asked to bid this Tierrasanta residential remodel project by a homeowner who was working with an interior designer. We met with the homeowner, who asked us to include in our bid several “extras” that were not a part of her designer’s plan.

After bidding the job, we were informed that the designer had met with the “other guy,” and that his bid was $1,800 less than ours. We know two things: 1) the “other guy” did not include in his bid the “extras” that weren’t included in the designer’s plan, but were specifically requested by the homeowner; and 2) the “other guy” bid this job knowing he was planning on completely destroying the walls in this home.

These pictures were provided courtesy of another contractor who was working on this project. He estimated that his additional work to repair this damage would run approximately … you guessed it … $1,800. And the homeowner didn’t even get her “extras.”
